65 YEARS YOUNG---AGAIN
Yesterday morning we headed up the White Pine Trail on our bikes to Big Rapids, where we spent the night. We arrived home today over the noon hour, 12:15 p.m---a total of 110 miles. It was a great time, though 30 miles of the trail is not paved and more than half of that is rough gravel. We passed through little towns on the way up and back. Here is John standing by a feed mill in Stanwood.
Living along the bank of the Grand River on Abrigador Trail, we are now official river rats--meaning that we live in a floodplain. But the term means more than that since my initials spell rat--and the reflections are ones both in my mind and on the water.
